Feels so good when stuff works. Especially on a demo. Congrats!

Exactly! I had one last week where it worked great when I put it in the mail and the customer broke it on our call with them. 99% sure its a linux permissions issue. At least it was a prototype, not an actual product.

Yeah I'm in sort of the IoT realm with regard to railroads. Building edge processing systems to gather data and package it up for the mothership. You?

    That's what she said

No but really that looks nice and peaceful.

Ever go drive the tail of the dragon?

Would love to take a motorcycle through that stretch.

Disregard, didn't know that's where the pictures stemmed from!

yep, sounds exactly like the type of thing I'd expect  :bananadead:

sounds like you handled it pretty well, though. That sounds like a data and detail intensive job, how do you like it?

it reminds me of a road I used to rip all the time here in the mountains. Would be a blast to hit in a motorcycle

I did part of the dragon over in NC a long long long time ago in my 280zx. We've got some little dragons not far from where I live.

Many roads around me are like that. The colors this time of year make it neat.

I'm actually not one of the 'developers,' I'm more of a second-tier support person that also does a ton of coding and linux stuff to glue prototype shit together so that the rest of my team can use it and customers can try out new features. I love it, mostly because my boss and my coworkers are awesome. The work is great too, and when its not covid, I get to travel.

have you always lived in AR? I drove through in Aug when I was helping my buddy pick up the car his mom gave him. I thought it was beautiful. I loved the combination of the greens and rolling hills.
