Actually, around Manhattan it wasn't all that bad. The Hudson Bay kept the temperature stabilized. In the City snow never got too high. Fall came a month earlier and spring a month later. Other than that it wasn't all that different.

I commuted by train and subway to/from the office. I actually liked not having to use a car for work. I got to where I could sleep on the trains and get almost an extra hour of sleep in the morning on the way to work. The winters in OKC were more severe due to winds on flat land and high winds from the northwest.

Sometimes the NYC area gets a blizzard that stops the trains from running. It didn't happen while I was there. The biggest hassle was grocery stores in NJ. They had barriers up around the front of the stores so grocery carts could not be taken to the parking lot or stolen.

So if you went alone, you would have to tip somebody who was hanging around the store to watch your stuff while you went to get the car to load up.

Armored Core came out in '97, Mechwarrior has been around since 1989 making it the real OG :luvya:

I have no idea which one is actually better, I don't remember even playing it all that much TBH. I was a big fan of the Descent PC games though, those were fun

Theres only one school in my state that gives a Bachelors in that. But everyone Ive talked to in the field says an AAS is all you really need to go far, as there really isnt any more job specific classes that a Bachelors can offer in mechatronics. Just takes a few years building up experience.

I remember when we moved to Oregon when I was in 10th grade, I didn't know anyone my first day of course so I picked an empty table in the cafeteria to eat lunch. Suddenly this group of 4 or 5 girls comes and sits down around me, giving me side eye like who the fuck is this guy sitting at our table, lol. They started talking about when their periods started and I was like, yup...there's my cue to leave

Yea there's only one school in my state that offers it as well.. the only reason my company and I are going that route is because a bachelors is required for a CET and they want me to become an integrator and we need an official stamp on my plans and drawings
