Damn skippy. A dab of plain pumpkin purée helps too. My pup just finished a round of that, and is now on a prescription dog food thanks to her sensitive tummy. Expensive, but it’s working so far. Hell, she probably eats better than I do, haha.

Is anyone interested in camping at flagpole on November 21st? A couple of us are planning to, and if your interested let me know.

Camping at the Hampton Inn would be nice, but I'm gonna try to get a deer instead!

That Sheetz was under renovation in June; I've driven by there a couple times recently but not close enough to tell if they're open again (although their FB page indicates they're open). I recommend meeting at the Sheetz on University Dr just to be safe (same place as last couple meetups), plus it has a bigger parking lot.

I found a guy on FB Marketplace selling a brand new URD Mark 2 Y Pipe (listed for $400, said he'll sell it for $320). Instead of going behind the transfer case it looks like it goes under the transmission. The website says it's redesigned based on customer feedback to stay above the frame rails and maximize ground clearance. Are you guys familiar with this particular flavor of URD Y Pipe? I plan on making a mid and rear skid and want to make sure there won't be any issues mounting the mid plate. https://www.urdusa.com/urd-mark-2-y-pipe-tacoma-2016-v6/

The only potential interference with a tranny skid is how you do your gussets. The mobtown has a large X that spans the whole plate and is a few inches tall. It’s not compatible with the urd pipe.

Yeah, that concerns me as well. Also, if I'm looking at the pictures right, are the catalytic converters eliminated? That would be a problem passing emissions here in NoVA.

There are 4 cats, and the two eliminated are downstream of any sensors. You can eliminate them and it won’t throw any codes. It shouldn’t be a problem.

Good to know. I may run over to Hi-Flo Custom Exhaust tomorrow and get a quote. They're the ones that did the re-route for @ilubtimmyhos. I think I'd feel better having the pipe routed behind the transfer case rather than under the tranny just to make sure it doesn't hit the skid plate gussets.

Last time I looked at it, I thought URD removed the resonators, but left the cats. I mean, a cat works as a resonator in some respect. But man, I may to jump on them pipes though. I've been kind of looking at them.

Just found out I won't be able to make it. Have to help pick up a new puppy in North Carolina. If for whatever reason things change on my end I'll definitely come out. Have fun and stay safe out there!!

Mark, I have the URD y-pipe on my truck. Not sure which version mine is tho. It does eliminate the rear two catalytic converters (like @EatSleepTacos said) and routes the driver's side pipe under the transmission pan. I cut away part of the gussets on the trans skid in the area the pipe was close to them.

Have you had any issues with noise (excessive droning, that kind of thing)? I'm planning to fab my own skid plate so I could work around it, but I'm nervous about having the tranny/y pipe/skid plate stacked on top of each other. I also wonder if and when I lift my truck if that will affect said clearances at all. I know your truck is lifted so I'm assuming it hasn't been an issue for you.

Edit: I'm assuming you're able to pass VA state inspection? Since you live in Winchester, I guess you don't have to worry about emissions. I'm assuming they'll fail it in NoVA just based on a visual. Plus I'm still under warranty....

It'll pass here. Visual and plug in. All the inspector looks for is the presence of cats. He won't have any idea of what's supposed to be there. And that's even if he does the visual underneath.

Yeah, I live in Front Royal and we have no emissions inspection here. State inspection has not been an issue at all.
The y-pipe never seemed to cause any drone to me. I put together my own exhaust using 2.5" pipe, a straight-thru resonator, and a borla muffler. It's quieter than the Magnaflow exhaust I had previously. That exhaust had a lot of droning. That's why I added the resonator with the later exhaust

I hate asking to borrow things, but does anyone happen to have one of those scissor lift cart things? I need to get something heavy out of the bed of my truck soon.
