    Ha ha!

Tune it for the right lane of I-59 heading north before Springville. That section has been rough for decades now.
Hope you get some dessert after dinner. :bananadance:

It’s really embarrassing, especially after driving out of state on nice roads. But at least the devil didn’t get us for gambling!

I don't get on 65 much. If I do, it's from 59 and that hairpin left turn will have you puckered up if you're going too fast! lol

Bumper caps came in today, but I got in late and I’m beat.

I’ll probably put them on Saturday unless I get home with some daylight left tomorrow.

@cubie how do I put these on? Wash the bumpers, remove 3m tape backing, and apply?

Do not remove the 3M backing, you don't need it. There are 3 clips under each side of the bumper, pull those clips out, pull up on the top part of the bumper, install the caps, push the top part back down and reinsert the 3 bottom clips. They fit so well, you don't need the 3M tape. When I removed mine to sell to @Thunder Fist, they were a pain in the ass. If I had peeled the 3M tape, they would have been nearly impossible to pull off.

I’m dying to get back into camping, and my wife is interested but she’s set to pop in February. Obviously we aren’t going to camp with a newborn, but for those who have camped with young ones, what age did you start and how was it? Better to leave them with the grandparents? Haha

We took our little Coop when he was 3. Of course, he had his 7 year old brother at the time, to keep him company. They loved it!

You should go while the weather is good and it's not too cold out. When you truck camp, you can camp like kings! lol

Do you think under three would be feasible?

I doubt I could get her to camp right now. She doesn’t sleep either, she just pees constantly. Haha

Under three would definitely be feasible with both you and your wife. Unfortunately for me, Amanda isn't an outdoors person - hey we all have faults (Auburn fans...). I'll probably "camp" in our back yard soon with my 3 year old and see how she handles it.

Yeah that’s a good idea. I figured we’d start on our land first and see how it goes. See what we need and what we don’t. It’s a ways down the road, but I’m excited at the prospect.

    Morning

    From AlabamaWX

QUIET PATTERN CONTINUES: Alabama’s weather will stay mostly dry through the weekend, although a few isolated showers are possible tomorrow over the southern half of the state. Partly sunny days, mostly fair nights, and highs will remain generally in the 70s. A few spots over West Alabama could touch 80 Sunday afternoon. Lows over the weekend will be in the low 60s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday still looks dry for most of the state, but we will bring in some risk of showers beginning Tuesday, and lasting through the end of the week. The showers should be fairly scattered in nature during the mid-week period, and rain coverage at the end of the week will all depend on the behavior of Tropical Storm Eta, which will be in the Gulf of Mexico. Highs will hold in the 70s through the week… See the Weather Xtreme video for maps, graphics, and more details.

TROPICS: Eta is now back over the Caribbean after a journey through Central America, and is expected to become a tropical storm later this morning. The latest NHC forecast takes the system over Cuba Sunday, and then it takes a left turn, moving into the southern Gulf of Mexico Monday.

The impact, if any, on the Central Gulf Coast remains unclear. Eta could turn northeast, impacting mainly the Florida Peninsula, or it could drift northward toward the Panhandle. Sea water temperatures continue to cool over the northern Gulf, and the main impact will be from heavy rain, most likely, along the track. We will have much better clarity on the ultimate destination of the system over the weekend.

The rest of the Atlantic basin is quiet; hurricane season ends on November 30.

ON THIS DATE IN 1977: The Kelly Barnes Dam, located above the Toccoa Falls Bible College near Toccoa, Georgia, failed in the early morning hours of November 6, 1977. Thirty-nine people died in the resulting flood, which inundated part of the campus including a trailer park.

ON THIS DATE IN 2005: The deadliest tornado to strike Indiana since April 3, 1974, occurred around 2 am. A single EF3 tornado inflicted 24 fatalities, 238 injuries, and nearly 90 million dollars in damage with a path length of 41 miles. This storm moved in a northeasterly direction from just north of Smith Mills Kentucky to Gentryville, Indiana, and crossed the Ohio River three times. Most of the damage occurred as the tornado passed southeast of the city of Evansville.
