Thank you @02hilux and @1997tacomav6 for your input. I really do appreciate it!

Man, am I really on the fence with this one.
I truly did have my eyes set on those DT's and were pretty devastated when I found out that they weren't in stock do the the higher demands during "Covid times".

The only reason I am pushing to order some headers is because my supercharger is currently being fully rebuilt (new bearings and eaton rotors), my injectors are being cleaned and I have some other parts that are currently removed which would actually make the install of these headers quite simple.
I would hate to wait on the headers, reassemble everything when my blower gets back and then try to install the headers with everything back on..
Damn, talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place..

    Hey @1997tacomav6
I did see that you mentioned on waiting so that I could get the ceramic finish; I noticed that JBA now offers their headers with a ceramic polished or titanium colored finish.
    Any thoughts on those?

Side note: You must be John, from the Fast Lane Trucks YouTube Channel! Awesome truck brother!

    Thanks for the thumbs up,

I don’t know about the JBA headers that much, my buddy had a set of JBA headers put on and regrets
not getting the DT headers and has had leaking issues that he had to address a few times.
I’m assuming you have the black gen supercharger?

    Thanks for the insight @1997tacomav6!
Unfortunate to hear that your friend had so many issues with his JBA headers!
I'm starting to get the idea that both headers really do have their ups and downs, but the JBA's seems to have slightly more downs

And yep, black gen supercharger for me!

    Hey @02hilux
What kind of fitment issues were you having with your JBA headers?
I noticed earlier in this thread that the clearances were pretty tight when it came to the JBA headers, but other than that, they seemed fine.
Also, did you use the provided exhaust flange gaskets and hardware provided by JBA or did you go with another route (read that the JBA hardware aren't the greatest and left a little to be desired)?

I re-use the factory toyota mls gasket and bought stainless bolts, other than that, nothing else. It was ceramic coated but sprayed it with DEI high temp paint and wrapped it with DEI exhaust wrap.

    Nice job! @02hilux
I wouldn't even had known they were JBA's if you hadn't told me. And looks pretty sweet with the high temp wraps on them!

Did you take it to an exhaust shop to have them weld your new headers to your existing cats/exhaust?

Nope. I have a trd catback exhaust and kept the entire exhaust system a 4 piece (5 piece if you consider the short adapter). Header, cat, muffler, and tip.

I fab an adapter for the header to the cat, maybe 5 inch long. I didn't want to alter the cat.

    Wow! @02hilux
That looks like a really clean adapter you made from your header to your cat. I totally agree with you on not wanting to alter the cat since you already had a TRD cat back exhaust lined up.
By the looks of that photo, I would have easily thought those were Doug Thorley's! Especially since you made a flange from the header that connects to the adapter. Nice clean work brother!

One of the gripes I have with the JBA headers is that awful looking huge hole in the collector or lower y-pipe of the header that is meant to be welded to either; a flange (like yours), or have a catalytic converter welded straight to it. (Like Rldanie did here below)

I definitely like how you did yours and how clean it ended up looking!

Which site are you looking at for headers? URDUSA should have DT in stock.

    Thanks for the link! @1997tacomav6
I've seen other people do it here on TW and they seem to be kind of a hassle to make. Comes out looking really nice when they're completed though.
Super clean and the projection gives the truck a much more modern look and feel to it.
