Got my replacement key blade(ACE cut the first one wrong then I filed a little too much of the OEM key) and Home Depot cut it perfect even tho the guy was really annoyed and kept telling me he can’t do it. Also got my red buttons so I changed the alarm button.

Basically the same story I had. First blank was cut wrong by Ace. I decided to go back to Ace for second blank, because I got another key cutter who knew how to do it better. My new key works flawlessly now!

I took mine to Ace and the guy seemed confident in his ability. He cut it and it wouldn't even unlock my door so I asked him to try again to make sure he got all of the grooves fully cut and it works perfectly now. It's usually not the machine, but the operator that causes the issues

So... whenever I sit down on the bench in my garage to take my boots off and I have my key in my pocket, my panic alarm goes off!

Shoot! Guess your panic button could use a filing down to be less sensitive. I had that problem at first when I was testing fit.

You know, I've never ever used that button on any of my vehicles in an emergency.

@MESO should make a special button to replace it. Put a "where's my truck" logo on it.

If only I could get it to play the Metal Gear Solid alert/spotted sound on a single alert button press. *sigh* Dreams....

Well... it happened to me this morning. I got into my truck and hit the button to flip out my key blade. I go to insert the key into my ignition... and something's missing. The key blade is no longer there!

Anyways, I found it laying on my passenger seat and ghetto rigged it back onto the fob. When I got to where I was going, I put some thread locker on the set screw and cranked that thing down.

Exactly what I am doing tonight...debating on using the grey TRD logo instead of black.

I've got a spare army green one for sale if anyone is looking. Decided I didn't need two of them.

@MESO any plans of releasing limited edition colours for the FlipFob Tacoma?

Damn, now I want to go get my N-64 out of my closet and play it. Along with the Sega and NES.

Do it, so many of the games still hold up pretty well! My N64 and NES probably get more use than my xbox at this point haha
