    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
    @03TuRD ... the junk yard option is real.

    I got the middle leaf out of a leaf pack off a 5 lug Tacoma. And added it to my leaf pack, with a Wheelers Offroad add a leaf on the bottom. That leaf packed handled the load in my truck better than the AllPro Expo pack I'm running now.

    Who's running coilovers with 700# coils?

    Any advise on where to start with my preload settings? I'm thinking around 8 threads... but if I can avoid pulling them and re-installing them a half dozen times, that woukd be great.

    Mine was doing that rumrumrum thing last spring, it felt like right under my seat. Turned out to be a bad pass rear wheel bearing and the oscillation was a bent rear axle.
    I would have, did, swear it was in the front but I was wrong. You shouldn't be able to feel any in/out movement, or a very few thousandths

    Well today started great. Replaced the battery, terminals and alternator (sending the original out for a rebuild).

    Then as I pull the SC off to rebuild it and paint it this happens... maybe that diesel swap is going to happen sooner than I thought. I pulled the sc off and this was left behind on the intake. Not sure how to move forward with this.

    Advice?

    A shop that welds heads might be able to fix that up. They'll have to weld it back on and then machine it flat.

    @Speedytech7 Seen anything like this?

    I have the weld experience just not the machine, go figure.

    Seriously though, I lifted it off the intake and audibly gasped. There was a fair amount of corrosion built up around that stud. Seemed strange to me.

    ALSO one of the bolts in the intake was stripped out....

    Yeah we fixed similar on cummins all the time. Grind it out, weld it up, machine it flat, send it

    Bro, I have the same shocks and went the cheap route and added a leaf. Gave nearly 2" of lift, I keep a couple sand bags in the bed to soften up the ride. Not a terribly difficult job, get a couple good C Clamps and you'll be good to go.

    Sorry that happened. That charger get super heavy when you’re trying to fully extend it out over the lower intake to set it down. Maybe you put the weight on the unit on that one little end installing/removing and it cracked?
