I have a set of stock OEM leaf springs that were removed from a 1999 Toyota Tacoma X-tra Cab 4x4 truck when I upgraded to the complete OME suspension kit. I would like to give away the both leaf springs to anyone who may need it for their truck. I'm located in northern California for those who are interested in it. I'm not interested in shipping them though.

Sorry to barge in...how do you like the OME? Full leaf pack? 285’s? Again, my apologies, but I was just considering this kit. Thanks in advance.

@motorsport36: I have the Nitrocharger Sports shocks, Dakar leaf pack, AAL, and 883 front coils installed since I have the ARB bull bar and plan on getting the winch & lights. The previous shocks that were on the truck were worn out and was unhappy about the stock leaf springs sagging. I'm happy with the 3" lift, can handle the extra weight for a 1/2 ton truck, and the improved handling on & off-road. The OME suspension kit isn't as expensive as getting the Fox or Icon suspension kit. It depends on what you want from your truck and how you drive it.

Thanks! What size tire did you upgrade to or what size are you running?

I'm currently running 225/75 tires (widest tire size for stock) on the OEM Chou Seiki 15" x 7" aluminum alloy wheels. I will be upgrading to a set of 16" x 7" 4Runner wheels and new tires soon. I"m just waiting for my current tires to wear down.

If these are still available I could totally use them. Mine are currently arched the wrong way. Where in Northern California are you? I'm in the East Bay.

@subyguy: PM me. I’m located in Union City. The leaf springs are from a 1999 Tacoma.

Improved handling on road as well? My leaf pack is worn out and I'm trying to decide between oem and upgrading with a couple inch lift. I'm mostly a city driver, will be doing some towing, but fuel efficiency and driving comfort are probably my top priorities

@coldaccord: Yes, there's improved handling for highway/street driving with the OME lift kit. You can tow things with your truck with stock or upgraded suspension. Fuel efficiency is mainly weight on your truck, how you drive, and if you drive aggressively/hit the gas pedal. Comfort: Change out the OEM bucket or bench seats for Corbeau or other high end auto seats. The OEM 60/40 bench seats in my truck are not comfortable for long hours of driving due to the poor design of the seats. My lower back aches after a long drive. I have to pull over for a break and stretch out. No suspension upgrade will help in that department.

@Admin or moderators: Subyguy has picked up the leaf springs/UCA/front coils. Please delete this thread!
