I did go through Costco's site and got the referral to that dealer. You're right they hate Costco right now, I called Costco and told them about the experience. They said they will send feedback to the dealer and will send me to next one available. Hopefully the other dealer is not as bad.

there were some threads about getting taco from Yuma AZ with some good deals. have you tried to go on the toyota.com and do a search on dealers. I checked out some dealers of their inventories and the price is better than in So. Ca.

Yes, I read about Alexander Toyota in Yuma. I'm trying to get a good deal locally but if not able to I will contact them for sure.

Wow, a TRD OR for only like $500 than the SR5 Trail Edition I’m looking at! Is the $800 tech package necessary, therefore raising the price to $40k? Does it have the chrome bumper caps?

    Thanks

the tech package is handy - i think it is the backup sensor, blind spot..etc.

I have not checked in details on the spec, but does the backup camera comes as default or it is included some option package?

I went with through the costco auto program, they sent me to Lia Toyota in Wilbraham Mass back in August. I wanted a 2020 Limited, they brought out the invoice and gave me $200 over that for my price (41,669). Put a deposit that day and they couldn't get it to me. I ended up getting a 2021 Sport with advanced tech package and premium package, all weather floor mats and mud flaps, because I waited so long, they honored the price on the limited as the sport was $700 more than what I contracted for.

Hi All - I can swear reading about folks checking-in directly on the status of their tacomas when pending build / delivery...
Can someone please provide a link or insight into how to access this?

I finally have a Tacoma on the way - and have a VIN which works on the Toyota specs VIN id page. But the dealer tells me that the only way to get insight on delivery is to rely on them...

    Thanks!

Hey mate - I finally landed in the US a couple weeks back. I've run into a few good Tacomas (for my configuration)... but all wanted huge markups. I am working on a couple now - looking to improve from MSRP for a LR... (tough going!)
I am liking LR more and more. Tight pricing on the OR makes MSRP on the PRO a bit more reasonable at this time too... (How is that for rationalisation!) :D

Passed on a fully equipped OR in AR - but without the manual - I could bring myself to do it...

AR is a Great color! - but a bit on the dark side (relative to the old Defenders...) -tending to show swirls...

I drooled at the LR when I saw it in person... even my wife approved.

I ordered a 2021 TRD OR 6MT which was built on 10/26. I am being told that it will not ship until 12/7-12/14 because of the fuel pump recall which puts a halt to everything until it is sorted out. Whereas it sounds reasonable, I’m wondering if any of you that may have ordered recently have experienced a delay in receiving your truck as well.

I inputed my VIN for my new 2021 TRDOR in the toyota.com/recall site, and it said there are no active campaigns. So, I text my salesman about this. Hope to hear back soon. From my last screenshot last week on the delivery progress, it should be at my dealer near the end of the week so I hope it is NOT delayed at port (Kansas City). Crossing my fingers....

EDIT: salesman text me back with screenshot of truck status from his Dealer Daily (or whatever the system is called). It arrive at port (KC) yesterday, and will arrive at Dealer on Wednesday. No delay regarding fuel pump issue.

Thanks for your feedback. One other question: When was yours built, and was yours built in Mexico, or is it coming from somewhere else? Mine is a Mexico build and I understand that all North American Tacomas are built there now.
