I have the same thing...and then I’m the asshole.
I need to design an LED bored that reverse displays the speed limit. Bright red LEDs flashing “55 MPH! FUCKKNUCKLE!”

that should get the message across

Give him a break. He didn't go to Derek Zoolander's School for Kids Who Can't Read Good and Stuff.

    Why no morning drinking?

Aftermarket bumper and a forceful tap, then drive them off the road.

    I'll second that

About 7 or 8 years ago, I was driving a company van from Lake Stevens to Tacoma for work, 6am start. I may have been above the speed limit, but allegedly only about 70 in a 60 on an open freeway. I had a guy one day pass me, then get over in front of me and slow down in the left lane. I moved right to pass him, and he sped up and blocked me at the next car up. Eventually I got around him, maybe using the carpool lane, and leaving him stuck in other lanes.

Over in my neck of the woods now, it is fun watching people out driving in the first snowfall each year.

I went through there Sunday, they have a temporary detour w/ light set up while they reinforce the burned and cleared hillside. You can get through no problem.

The back door scraped the lockout of the slider so I just need to grind that down but other than that it looks so much better and protects way more of the door

What did you use to extend the tube? Replaced the entire outward section or cut and sleeve? I need to reattach mine, but I didn't exactly cut them flush off of my old frame.

IMO that's how sliders should be, I don't understand why people have them closer inboard. I've had the odd occasions where my slider is rubbing and the terrain is off camber, my slider has prevented me dragging my roofline along side a tree. If a guys not paying attention to overhead hazards you can fuck up the A pillar all the way back to the rear window in a hurry. More poke with the slider can help in a situation like that.

If you run 2 sets of tires, one set wide and one set skinny, it does look goofy if the sliders are sticking out past the sidewall, but if you're running a decent offset/bs wheel you'll never notice.

I just used the same spec DOM tubing as the slider and just cut and welded the tube on, I decided to pass on the sleeving because the welds were solid but if I feel like it needs extra reinforcement I’ll add a piece running from the frame to about halfway down the extended arm in the future and that will make it super solid, and I completely agree the extended sliders will protect so much more now, it will also make the gate keeper at walker a breeze

hey fellas. considering aftermarket flares instead of chopping my factory ones if clearing tires is a must. thought about getting some bushwackers if carving came to be. feedback welcomed.
