'Tis a second gen. Gas door is on the wrong side to be a third gen.

And the torsion bar suspension with manual hubs is a dead ringer.

Yeah it's on the Lucerne Valley side. It was a good amount of snow especially considering how hot it was just a couple days ago here, temp really dropped with this cold front. They got a couple feet give or take at around 7k ft, it was even snowing in the high desert when we got to the trail head.

Man I could go for some of that right now. 1" would get me out of work for atleast a day, maybe 2.

Sucks to be a kid this year. No snow days as long as you have power haha.

Now that I have a Scangauge I keep an eye on my coolant temp pretty consistently... Noticed today on the trail it stayed pretty low around 180° - 184°. I mean it was cold outside but for being in 4lo and cruising around at higher RPM I was surprised.

Normally around town I'm at about 192°, maybe a little over 200° if I'm pulling up a steep highway grade in 4th gear.

Not sure if it's considered normal to run cooler like that sometimes?

Used Rivnuts to affix it to the truck.

You'll put rivets in your roof for a 1980s police light bar but you won't drill your fender to install a snorkel

    Does not compute

Excuse me sir this is a brand new 2018 Federal Signal Legend lightbar. I got it surplus from PG&E.

This is a 1980’s police lightbar:

Was gonna say the same thing. Fenders are easily replaced if you screw up as compared to the roof.
