    That's an interesting way to pick, but if you have to hybrid pick you lost your middle finger, but if your focus is the pick, then maybe you gain precision.

    Just my two cents.

    I'm a finger picker, so when I do use a pick I still use my middle and ring and sometimes my pinky.

    "J" is October. "84" is pretty obvious what year it is. 7955 is production # for that year.

    1983 had the hard rocker pro trem.
    1984 had the pro Rok'r trem. (Which is what this 1984 sports)

    The only color the 1010SL came in was MS. Marine Sunburst.

    Depends on what you’re looking for. TDPRI is mostly Teles with some strat, all guitars are welcome. It’s a good place. Seymour Duncan and Les Paul have good ones. You start getting into younger kids tools and flamers though.
