More details on this? Is it a line lock?

It’s a Mico Lever Lock used for forklifts and industrial equipment. They work but usually have a tendency to leak by. I used them for 20 years on equipment I ran.

Exactly what Ritchie said. Reason this over line lock is that my understanding is line lock is a momentary setup --good for a minute or so and any additional petal pressure once it is locked could cause damage or release. I could be all wrong on this. However, Lever lock is used on tow trucks and stuff as they're winching and I'm 100% confident it'll work for my use. Longer keep and more reliable as it is designed for. Not intended as a long term parking brake, but will work great for momentary stops on steep technical inclines.

Wasn't in interested in mechanical as my lines kept sticking from all the abuse and I couldn't find any transfer case brakes...

I would google "Mico Lever Lock" and see what comes up. I had got mine used on eBay. Fingers crossed that it works, as it was still kind of pricy.

I hear some people have used these as actual parking brakes. I wouldn't rely on it as an actual parking brake, but I say that as perspective to the level these are at.

I believe with these you flip the lever, then press the brake and it'll hold that. With mine there is also a pressure switch that you could hook a buzzer or light for warning if you're loosing pressure.

Yeah same as a line lock. I only will use it when parked at an akward angle for a short period of time

    Okay guys- couple things!

***I am FINALLY in the position to be on the lookout for anyone who wants to trade their ADD hubs/spindles for my gusseted spindles with manual locking hubs, and freshly rebuilt locking part, plus freshly greased and banded CV axles with new clips.*** Not really looking to ship. Just want to do a direct local swap right away. So in case any of you are looking....

Planning on sticking in the transmission this next weekend!

Where'd you get those shifter knobs - think they'll heat up from the sun?

I believe I got those from Dave's Offroad and the hub looking one from I think Low Range Offroad.

I am sure they'll get hot, but I dig the awesomeness factor haha. I have a billet Hurst shift knob/lever in my other car and it gets pretty toasty, but cools down pretty quick.

Haven't taken the diff apart yet, but I'm assuming I can just bolt the longer tube thing to bypass/remove the ADD?

Not 5.29s though :( But test fitting the front diff!

Going to actually bolt down the flywheel, get clutch centered, and pressure plate bolted tomorrow. No fear on the wrong and missing botls there haha. I have the actual specific ones on hand

Also have a Magnaflow 18" muffler on the way. Currently rewiring all my auxiliary lighting nicely off a fuse block.

Member here was looking for a parking brake assembly. Convently I'm pulling mine off this weekend!
