    update. I had the interview. it went well. They called me back and said that i am currently on the hiring list, but have to wait for more openings to continue with the process.

    Update. I got a call from one of the sergeants today, and they want me back in for a second interview and start the background process. So i have the interview tomorrow!!!

    So, I gotta conditional job offer. i just need to pass my poly, and psychological test and im good to go. They want to send me to the academy asap. Like beginning of January.

    Thanks all, it was a good and bad day yesterday.

    I got the conditional offer, but my great grandmother passed away at the age of 92. At least she is not suffering any more.

    The good always seems to come with the bad... congrats on the conditional, and sorry for your loss. Psych tests are easy, if you're not nuts and the poly can be nerve racking, just be honest with all answers and you should do fine. Its a great job be doin' it for 25 years, good luck!
