I’m trying! Honestly I haven’t been very active in terms of posting on the site since I bought the truck, just lurking, reading forums and learning. I guess I’ll just stick to that lol

Don't do that, be involved! There's plenty of negative people on here who love to give people are hard time or be a smartass, but there's even more that love helping others and being there as a fellow Taco enthusiast. Ignore the naysayers and do what makes you happy.

5100’s sounds like they’ll be a great solution for you. If you haven’t already, I’d spend a lot of time reading threads in the “Suspension” sub-forum or even the “3rd Gen Build Threads”

you’ll find better information there than asking in this thread. You’ll mostly get useless responses or people telling you to “leave your truck alone”

Just remember, it’s your truck and most importantly, your money :spending:

Thanks Ryan, I appreciate you actually trying to help me out and finding a thread too! I guess I have a couple options to look at, can’t wait to get started on this build! :welder:

Welcome OP. You could do 5100’s or 6112’s or Eibach is a great kit. Good luck. Imo can’t go wrong with either of these kits. I have 5100’s all round 2” front lift / rear aal 1.5”. Spc upper control arms for a dialed in alignment. Would t change a thing.

Mine is similar with 5100's, 884 lift coils, and 1.5" AAL's. The lift is modest and perfect for the tire size i'm running. 265/70/17

I was like you...lurked on the site since I bought my truck in 2016. I was able to do most of the suspension mods myself so I save on costs there. A lot of good people here learn from so ask lots of questions. The reason I finally signed up was for the vftune help.

Factory height is one thing...aftermarket lifts can be another....thats where grey areas develop.

I understand where you are coming from, I just want to level and maybe slightly lift the truck, no more than 3/4 of an inch. I honestly don’t think it will slip a joint over that for daily driving.
