    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
    Went with lowering the collar 6 threads and sent it.

    I like it. Goal was 40 inches from ground to fender. 40 inches exact on passenger. 39 3/4 on driver... I can live with that.

    Did it with the coilovers on the truck, wheel removed, and jacked up?

    I need to take out some pre-load as well.

    With Kings yes that's all you have to do, don't even need to remove the tire as long as it's jacked up. There's enough droop to get in there. UCA is the biggest obstacle but at least as far as SPCs go I can work around them

    Spray wd-40 on the threads and they turn easier, just don't loosen the collar too much or turn it too fast where it jumps threads

    To those that have gone to a newer console (from 01-04) in an older first gen (95-00), was it completely bolt on? I'm trying to do it today and it looks like new holes have to be drilled to fit the new bracket? Just curious how everyone else did it...

    I guess I just meant if he did anything more.

    I know, only 1 turn on the bolt holding the collar and no more than that.

    Some people have used a spring compressor to relieve a bit more tension cause the droop alone wasn't enough.

    I dunno, I've adjusted mine probably 10 times and thats all I ever needed to do, never had to take them off or anything. Tensions never been an issue, does take a little muscle but have your Wheaties first and you'll be ok :p

    Do your Kings have a resi hose fitting. The Kings I had before were the ifp type, no resi. So yeah, pretty easy to do on the truck.

    No way to do them on the truck, even if the UCA is disconnected and moved up, out of the way. Fortunately, I have access to a very nice Brannack spring compressor.

    mts shine in the snow when you're down at 8psi and trying to paddle through.

    short of that, pretty poor performance. the whole point of a snow tire is to hold snow.

    You do have to pull the uniball through bolt though.
