how many deer can you guys get per year? We’re limited to one unless you get a bonus tag, or hunt in an expanded zone.

 

Went to do front pads and calipers, going to end up replacing everything but the rear calipers. My lathe is too small to turn rotors unfortunately.

 

2 bucks and 4 does a piece and we can go get more doe tags if we want to.

 

This guy just turned around at the store. It’s a friend of ours.

 

Red dot sight just came in, guess we’re going to sight it in.

Down there only slightly bigger then a Chihuahua I believe

 

lol! I can’t hate too much, I haven’t shot one since 2015! But he was a little over 150, 7 pt.

 

That's tiny. I once hit an 8pt that would have dressed out at 280lbs.

 

thats a big boy! I’d love to see anything with horns but that would be a record around here!

 

A couple pages back, I posted the Ohio state record deer. It's 211 inches.

 

I saw that. He’s a monster! Maine’s record is 402 lbs dressed, I doubt I’ll ever see one that big. But the store near me has a leader board, and the top is around 202.

 

Average around here is 150 lbs, biggest I’ve ever seen is 205 lbs. here in NC.

 

10 shots with the Hellcat and new red dot at about 15’. I’m liking the red dot so far. 7 are mine, 2 are the wife’s, 1 is our 8 year old sons.

edit : I have a Hitachi hand held that works well enough and has been reliable

 

Seems like an awful lot to me . Must be a huge deer herd in NC
