how are you reloading the 7.62? Got some specs on supplies?

 

No reloading. I started buying x39 and x54 by the case in 2007. I haven’t bought any x39 since 2008. I think I bought my last case of x54 in 2012 and 9mm in maybe 2014. The x51 and 5.56 are from the last few years, grabbing it when I can find it. Aside from taking classes here and there I generally only use range time to verify zero.

I 'had' a lot of ammo before last Tuesday. That's when the horrific kitchen incident happened in the middle of a deeep river.

 

Shot the hell out of the kitchen while in deep water????

 

You don't have a kitchen in yer rowboat? I was trying to shoot an arm ed dillo and he kept moving. I kept missing. Rowboat became a submarine. No BS!

 

Sounds like rats in the cabin for me..... shot holes everywhere, couple of rats also.....

 

Finally “pulled the trigger” on an upper!

 

I didn’t know you were into shooting. I just picked up a 5.56 myself. I haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet

 

25-45 sharps is one of my AR favorites. SRC came out with it long before Mad Dog.

 

We need to get together more often! I’m still in the process of buying all the pieces so I can build my first one. I already had a few things this one comes with, but no harm having extra. Now I just need to start getting ammo!

If you ain't stocked up on ammo yet, you're gonna get raped by the current prices. Still though, expensive ammo is better than no ammo. Just in the last week, I have seen a steady increase in prices. Some places are charging a dollar a round. Highway robbery!

 

Damn thing is now priced at $315!

 

I bought 100 rounds of 223 when I got the rifle $100

 

And that's a great example of getting raped! Better get it while the gettin's good, it ain't gonna get no better.

 

I’m glad I stocked up on the Hornady zombie rounds a couple years ago, 20 rounds of .223 for about $12/box.
55gr polymer tip, same as the v-max, except with a green tip

 

I remember that zombie ammo. Good ammo, just with a green tip and cheesy boxes.

 

Like paying well over msrp for the rifle itself
