    Canada Eh!
Speaking from personal experience in a place with a solid 5 months of winter per year (NW Ontario, Canada)...

Cooper AT3-4s>Duratracs (non studded). Those would also be my number 1 and 2 pick if I wanted to run an AT year around.

KO2’s don’t really belong on any list of the OP’s request.

Buy the ones you like the most and are in your budget. Each tire has their own plus and minus.

can't really settle on tires you "like" the most unless you like spending money every 10k trying out different tires. aint nobody got time fo dat!

i usually go to the tire shop and lick the rubber. if it's tasty then it should be good.

its hard to buy tires when ALL reviews are all over the place with pros/cons but my vote goes for falkens because everyone and their mom on TW is riding on them

Yes, region and geography are the main deciding factor. Dudes living in the praires dont have any idea what its like pulling mountain passes, its why you always hear guys saying my 2wd s10 with all seasons works awesome while others are running dedicated winters.

I live in the Sierras and unfortuntely have had to drive in the snow for my whole life. I just havent had any luck with St maxx in the snow. Have had a couple sets and they are tough as nails but just harden up when they get cold. C rated wildpeaks and duratracs are good for the first 15k of their life. Had a couple inches yesterday and the wildpeaks ran great and my st maxx were as slick as usual.

Should mention that I have only ran E rated st maxxes.

The best tire I have ever ran in the snow are Iroks hands down. Then old school mtrs.

    not yesterday:

another +1 for duratracs. I live in the foothills of the rocky mountains I've had my truck in heavy snow several times (on and off road) and duratracs provide phenomenal traction.

I have the Cooper STT maxxs and so far they’ve been KILLER in the snow, surprisingly so. My good friend has duratracs on his truck same size, same truck and in the snow packed roads I consistently out-brake and beat him when we race from 0-60-0. My other friend who has a titan has k02s and it get whooped by both the duratrac and the coopers. But thus far VERY impressed with the cooper stt maxx and they perform stellar off-road in the dirt. WORLDS better than my previous k02s

Only 5 last winter. Seemed longer. This was May 3rd in Kenora

Swear I ran the pellet stove till the end of May.

Anyways, not the aggressive look the OP was asking for, but I ran my Rotiiva's the first winter I had them, and in some ways, they seemed better than the dedicated winters I switched to the next year.

Well he needs a specific tire. I switched from Duratracs to STT Pros because of a need. Duratracs had a minus the Coopers had a plus on.
And they have a stronger sidewall from what I understand

My top 2 picks would be Falken Wildpeaks or Hankook Dynapros. Both are very reasonably priced, perform excellent in rain, snow and dirt (decent in mud) and will give you decent tread life. Nitto Ridge Grapplers also seem to fit into the same vein but I have no first hand experience with them. Currently on my second set of Wildpeaks. The first set lasted about 40k miles. Been in snow as deep as a foot and a half and had zero issues!
