Dash Noise?

So, today I was driving through a light, the road i was on dips down and then goes back up. I was going about 35mph or less and I heard a pop/creak. now, when I hit bumps it pops/creaks. It is very annoying and I forgot to mention but I can push up a very lil bit on the dash above the gauge cluster. It doesnt seem broken just loose. Any ideas?

 

i might be having the same problem. to me the popping sounds like a rock hitting the windshield but there is no one in front of me. i hear the sound more when i'm driving on the highway with the heater on and it does sound like it is coming from the dash. every time i hear the noise, i'm like damn it another freakin rock, but then i look around to see who may have done it and no one is around me

This looked pretty good. Not sure if it is the same problem you are having. I had the same problem on my '06 taco 4x4 before I wrecked it. Good luck.

 

I had a popping noise when I went over bumps, and when coming to a stop and starting up again. It sounded like the pop-top on glass bottles. I took it to the dealer and they figured it out immediately. One of the spot welds between the body panels in the door jamb had broken. Had it fixed in no time.

 

when I get the $ my truck is goin in to Toyota and I have a few lil complaints to get fixed. This noise, thud when i stop, transmission flushed, and chirp from the fan or blower mower.

 

oh THAT's where the missing ones went...
