Finally got the 2001+ center console/cup holder from @Seagull233 installed. The color match is not as close as I was hoping but function > form. PXL_20201109_174335506.jpg PXL_20201109_174341253.jpg PXL_20201109_174347432.jpg

What did you do for the rear bracket under the console? I went to install mine this weekend and had some issues...

There really is quite a bit of difference in color between the pre2001 and '01 to '04 gray, isn't there?

I didn't take any pictures but the console came with the large metal bracket attached to the underside and if you screw in the bolts through the lower storage tray, they go right through the bracket and into the smaller, forward pair of holes. Feels very solid.

Sure is.. For a minute last night, I was convinced I had actually bought a tan console haha. Although looking today in the sunlight, I feel the 2001+ grey matches the seats and the steering wheel so it's not totally out of place.

There is. The older one is blue/gray, the newer one is more charcoal. I ended up painting mine to match better.

Will post up more once I figure out how I need to mount it.

Likely not the most durable. The only color that I could find that actually comes close to matching is from Plastidip. I ended up scuffing all the surfaces really good with scotchbrite, wiping with denatured alcohol and painting using 8ish very thin coats. Adhesion is actually really good and doesn't scrape off easily with the fingernail test. The key to making the dip act as a paint is the thin coats. I expect that it'll last awhile, but will likely need to be touched up every few years.

    It's Plastidip (see link above).

Got it in. Color is close, but doesn't match perfectly. I'll probably pull the shift boot trim and paint it too to make it less apparent...

For the guys looking to match the older darker grey, SEM colorcoat "Graphite" is a pretty darn good match, and its made to bond to plastic. I did all of my seat trim with it, and it looks pretty good if I do say so myself.

So just the plastic parts on the seat are painted. They actually started out tan. Everything else in the picture is stock early dark grey.

Finally got it rebuilt and reassembled! (Mostly). Also decided to try out some flexing in the backyard.
