1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

My grandparents live in Warrensburg, MO right near Whiteman AFB. The B2 bomber would fly out of there regularly and I got to see it fly overhead almost every time we visited them for a few years there

 

Probably gunna get one next week when I start my next wood working project

 

My camry can do that

 

Electric chainsaws are garbage for anything except light yard work. Just get a cheap gas chainsaw and call it a day.

I help cut trees on a three acre commercial property and the electric one is fine for cutting small limbs and branches. But for cutting main limbs and beefy stalks you’re gonna want the gas one.

 

Any car can do it if you dont care about it and dont care about general safety

Modern power towels have come along way sense they first came out

 

needs the chipkey/ecu replaced and some very ease frontend work. It has the multimode t-case and is the limited also needs new seat.

Oh damn haha. I would've loved to see an SR71 in person. I was a fighter jet geek too as a kid. Wanted to be an Air Force pilot until around the time I started high school. Used to have a huge collection of model planes I built as a kid. My grandpa actually snuck me into Whiteman AFB when I was 8 in the back of his carpet delivery truck, he owned a furniture store and delivered to the base on occasion. I just sat in the back and they let him through, got to ride around and see all the aircraft from the passenger seat.
This was well before 9/11 of course, I remember they just waved at him when we got to the gate and let him through. Probably wouldn't be so easy nowadays lol.

 

All the good stuff found in 01/02 trucks without any of the bad stuff... I love it

 

My Uncle was an intel officer at Whiteman and at his retirement we got to actually sit in the cockpit of a B2. It was wild... and that's why I work in the defense aviation industry now lol

 

There is one at March AFB out by Perris and one at plant 42 in Palmdale

 

same one, its in a lot better shape then I first thought.
