Plug and play seat heaters?

Considering buy clazzio leather seat covers and wanted to see if anyone knows of a company that makes a plug and play set up for seat heaters?

Reason behind wanting plug and play is that I don’t want to splice into any electrical wires or harnesses on my 2020.

 

I installed professionally for 15 years, only kits I ever seen or installed that were “plug and play” were Mopar kits. Basically they T harnessed into the 12v lighter socket. Can’t fully remember but might of also had to run a wire to the fuse box or battery. Everything else involves splicing. You could always make your own customer harness but you’d have to plan it all out and get connectors made. Nothing wrong with splicing if you know what you’re doing and do it right.

 

I’m trying to sort it out too. Some chatter here. Also some talk of the seat heater relay in the Oem bed light thread but I don’t think I’ve stumbled on anyone successfully adding the relay and finding a convenient connector. One of the biggest questions is which switches to use. The Oem dual zone climate panel isn’t usable on a truck with manual climate controls and that’s also where the Oem heater buttons are.

I just installed mine (more details in the above thread) without splicing any factory wires. Power and illumination comes from the trailer brake controller plug. I did have to use an add a fuse to a switched ignition source so the heaters only work when the ignition is on.

 

Thanks for the info.... I need to install a brake controller in my truck at some time so that may not be an option for me to add the heaters to the circuit

 

Think you can still follow pretty much my install with separate fuse panel. Just grab power right from battery instead of from trailer brake. Or add a fuse to an empty slot. Pretty sure there are open ones in heated seat and sunroof.
