Something must have been wrong when it was made at the factory. Mine has been on for 18 months and still looks new.

Bummer, sorry to hear it. My friend has a similar bump from having the gate down while turning a trailer. No bueno.

Those guys are like wizards with their nylon hammers. I watched a door ding being removed from my Camry , I was amazed.

Did the bezel remove when I did mine but I also pre-heated the lenses by having my fogs on for 10 mins before starting. Ended up going on super smooth with no wrinkles.

You did good on your 16'! I sold my 16 SR5 to a friend (through a dealer friend to reduce the sales tax) for $25K. I then bought a 2020 TRD OR as soon as my dealer friend got one of new models. Got it in early October, 2019. Paid a little over $35K and have added about $1K of options (rails, TRD skid plate, bed mat, Meso stuff, mud flaps, Kicker speakers/tweeter all around, Toyota bed lights, plus other items. Now have about $36.5K in the truck which (IMO) is too damn much for a Tacoma. However, it surprisingly towed my 6' x 12' dual axle trailer, with my new Kubota 850 Sidekick (a blast to drive) with little problem. However the gas mileage went from 22-23 on the highway to 14-15 mpg. Probably need a Tundra if I tow it more frequently.

I originally went with amber thinking it would be more orange, like my marker and turn signals. Thinking of going to white now...

That's the first bronze I've seen that I actually like on Inferno. And the style I'm considering. You have a link to those? Thx.

My brackets are from Newpowa (same as panel). I turned the brackets upside down to make it flush. I did have to drill out the holes a bit so they lined up with the crossbars

yeah my modified Taco averages around 14 mpg. My brother-in-law’s tundra averaged 6 mpg when towing his boat! Diesels are the ones that don’t care about towing, considering mileage
