Played with fire and didn’t get burnt. Gotta love Toyota reliability!

Ive seen Honda’s with 300-600k on the original timing belts. They are stronger and more robust than most would believe.

This thread has reminded me that I need to do mine sooner than later. Toyota reliability until it’s broken and you’re stranded in the middle of nowhere. That would be me with my luck.

I’m glad more people are jumping on these. Hands down my favorite vehicle I’ve owned to date and if you know me, you know that’s quite the praise given my vehicular history.

I've driven this one a total of about 10mi so far...ran into town to get dinner one evening and took it...been sitting since. I'll go by the DMV this coming Friday to get it plated and road legal.

Well...they used to be REALLY cheap, until people figured out they can mod them and are just as capable as any other yota. Now, prices are going up, and fast.

It really does. The 9's might be a little big, but the 6's look GOOD.

Speaking of GX builds being pricey.... this one is for sale for close to $50k. It’s a pretty legit GX and it’s one of the first ones that kinda kicked off the GX craze. His IG post gives a breakdown of all the mods and such he has done to it if anyone is curious.
