I really do, I'm thankful he lets me. He's pretty easy going as long as we don't have anything pressing.

Breathe underwater, but predicated on bottom limits like SCUBA not being a factor.

so flying, are we talking flying squirrel, flapping like mad, or Superman?
I think I'd be down for Superman style, flapping sounds like to much work

Pssh. Carribean Reef sharks are bitches...unless you have a bloody fish in your hand.

Now the Great White that hangs around the USS Duane and routinely checks out the divers in Key Largo, FL...

Comes out of the murk at 25s, and you realize why they are apex predators. Curious "little" guy just wants to see what the noisy bubbles are, but it takes some willpower to not poo your wetsuit when you see a 10-12 footer come charging out of the haze like that.

I grew up in the Keys, (Islamorada) when I was 12 I did yard work for a guy for a summer for a rotted out Boston Whaler. Learned fiberglass work, patched it up, sanded it down and painted it. About that time I got my open water certification.
Heck of a way to grow up! Spent a lot of time on the water.

First true open water dives for me were were the sub pens in Key West. Thats a great area to learn in.

first deep dive was a few days later down on the Vandenburg. 6 foot seas in a 24 foot boat to get out there was a venture I don't think I'd sign on for again though.
