Awesome! That is exactly how it has been feeling for me too, but you did a much better job at describing it.

D4523B8B-0034-4091-9EE2-F96584A4C4FA.jpg More good news regarding this TSB. I have a 2020 OR and it was one of the ones that would not crawl up a curb starting from the tires on the curb. It would sit there and then Crawl Mode would turn off. I thought I would try it after this TSB and now......it works in all 5 settings!! The RPM’s increase and it climbs right over. Figured I would try since the TSB had to do with shifting points and such. I am really happy about that. Plus I went off roading today and tested out there as well and works like a champ. Below was a ledge I went down. Fun trail.

Whoa! That's awesome. I hadn't had a problem with CC in my 2020, but if this is true for everyone then that's a big deal.

Thanks for the heads up...mine seems a little shifty but nothing obnoxious. What the heck, maybe I will get it done.

To match your VIN, do you just look at the applicability section on page 1 and this refers to the 4th, 5, 6, 7 and 8th numbers on your VIN? Thank you!

Does anyone know what the Canadian version of this TSB is called or number?

Thank you very much! I have booked a service appointment with my dealer to get this applied since I have experience some hesitation and delay.

For future reference where would be the best place top find these TSB's?

    You're welcome!

I do not know of the Canadian equivalent to the US NHTSA.gov website. If you can find something for Recall reporting, you might be able to find these Manufacturer Communications?

Otherwise, you are kind of dependent on TW? I try to maintain the 1st Post of the ECU Update thread with as much TSB info as I can get.

Also, if you struggle to get help at the dealer, there might be a TW'er near you that can help you out with the TSB flash.

I lucked out on this one from someone on a Facebook group that happened to have a buddy see it. I couldn't find it published anywhere online.

When i let off the gas and turn a corner at 2000 rpm and then give it gas it stumbles and my DZ5BN is covered. My neighbor is a Toyota Master Mechanic and is going to confirm i’m eligible. Other than this one issue i love my new truck.
OP thanks for the heads up!

Dang, that's too bad. I gotta say though that is some cool data.

Does the crawl control use the rapid braking same as so you dont roll backward on a hill when you stop? Mine CC rolled right up a curb but with rapid break noise if thats what i was hearing.

Yes it does. Hearing that is normal during CC.
