Technically zero hp/torque gains wouldn’t be considered performance.(at least in my book) But if it makes your driving experience better that’s all that matters. I personally never really noticed any lag in 2015.

Drive a 3rd gen and you’ll feel the lag. It’s real

I beg to differ on the definition of performance. If my truck performs better, then there is a performance gain. I'm glad you haven't any problems with yours though.

Thanks. I just read up on it. Seems pretty good based on the reviews.

I know $300 is nothing to take lightly for most people, but I'm telling ya, it's worth it.

It seems that Pedal Commander threads pop up from time to time on TW. Anyways, I installed it on my 2005 and the difference was immediate! I have 33s and a 2.5" lift. Acceleration was crap before- it really felt like there was something wrong with the engine or drivetrain. After installation the Pedal Commander made a huge difference. My truck took off with enough force to snap my head back. Granted that was on the highest setting (sport+/ +4) and too scary for me. I keep mine set at city/ +3 and that seems to be the sweet spot. I can accelerate quickly from red lights and it gives me enough extra pop to get through traffic. The bluetooth connectivity is a cool feature but honestly, I forget it's even a thing. Depending on where you mount it, changing the settings on the fly is pretty easy.

The one (costly) downside, as previously mentioned is the decrease in MPG. I use the DashCommand app to track all the OBD data like torque, coolant temp, etc. (a great add on in it's own right- is it accurate? Not sure) and after I installed the PC my gas mileage went down a lot. Still worth it to me as thankfully my truck is not my DD.

I didn't say it gave me more power, just felt peppier...and since you have problems with comprehension and space/time matters, I won't argue with you (you obviously never had a PC).

I think you're just an argumentative retard.

Sounds like the Sprint Booster is a better option. Not sure if I want to tune my truck right away

Just going to leave this here for those that think these things actually make throttle response quicker than stock. The ONLY thing they do is simulate you pushing on the gas pedal more than you actually are ("sport modes" or less than you actually are "eco modes")

Make sure to expand the quote below, for those that need pictures to prove a point.

The only way to change the how the ecu opens and closes the throttle blade in relation to seen accelerator pedal input is by changing the throttle pedal mapping table in the tune of the truck itself.

You can listen to the naysayers or you can try it for yourself. It's no skin off my back, but it made a huge improvement in the "feel" if driving my truck.

Other option which helps with the lag and better driving and better is a tune. The OV tune is the better option but does cost more.

I’ve had OV then S/C my buddy had pedal them OV tune and OV tune was a great addition. Not sure if you can get fit 2nd gen anymore but if you have a 3rd gen that will solve lots of your issues and better than a pedal comm.

I have URD CAI, URD Spec U Exhaust with equal length y-pipe, seriously considering a set of URD or DTLT headers with a tune next year. :)

went all in for the only thing you have done. Get some header, equal length Y, exhaust and a tune and you should get some nice output. damn CA and not able to have headers is killing me. Stuck is choking on the stock manifolds.
