Heading back up to northern Maine tomorrow for some deer and upland bird hunting. Taking my father (81). He's been a homebody all year as he's nervous/concerned about Covid, so it'll be a nice getaway for him. Hopefully I can push a deer in his direction.

 

Doughnuts goes good in pairs especially when your dunking them.

Thanks Bill. He's still pretty active and drives well. He got a new (to him) 2016 Honda CRV this year. He's riding up with me for the first time. He doesn't hunt very hard, but hey, he get's out there. He brings granola and feeds the squirrels. I usually suggests a spot for him to sit and will still hunt all around him with hopes of kicking up a nice buck in his direction. It's tough that far north as there aren't many deer per square mile. But it's about the experience.
