With any luck, the CT90 will be running tomorrow. Today I changed the oil (china oil in it didn't smell good..), printed a slight different key and 12v switch holder, and got the chain installed. I have the day off work and only a few wiring things left to go:

    1) Speedo light and headlight to main battery area distro
    2) new kill and start switch from handlebar down to the rest of the harness
    3) Make new battery cables and wire in the starter solenoid, charging wire, battery distro, and chassis ground
    4) Profit?

Bonus items will be making a db killer and porting out the exhaust. Big ol' booger weld right at the head of the pipe that I know is going to rob it of like, 1/10th of a hp.

Fingers crossed I don't let any magic smoke out anywhere and nothing else major shows up.

@GHOST SHIP in your opinion, how would I transition from a flat mount to a tube? like for a saddlebag bracket? I dont want to do a butt mount

Got a pic of the orientation? There’s a few ways to make a bracket but it really depends on how you want it all to fit together and the angle of the intended mount. Take a look at this picture from @glorifiedwelder ’s thread and you can see a few separate plane transitions That should give you some ideas:

I also ordered some 2015+ Multistrada foot pegs today. Will be better because they are more flat. Should be plug and play

Well boys, it runs, it drives, it decel pops like a mother fucker though, like it sounded like my 9mm haha so I need to figure that out and put in a db killer. I’m thinking timing or possibly a coil ground. Definitely need to work on the jetting and carb, haven’t touched it aside from setting idle speed.

    Torque for days though! :bikewheelie2:

...maybe I should just wait for 2021 to get a bike. Saw a press release for the CFR300L Rally also.
