I'm so proud of my baby. handled it like a champ. i put the westin bull bar on there that i bought from matt (miss ya buddy, it was sad seeing ur tacoma on the lemon lot at langley). but i actually caught the deer off a rebound off another car in opposing traffic. the only damage to my truck was that the skid plate on my bull bar was bent in a little bit on the corner. my adrenaline is STILL pumping! haha. sorry no pics though... =/ i was too concerned about my truck to think about taking pics of the deer...

Glad you and your truck came through OK. Sounds like the deer was like a pinball off the bumpers... mmm, tender venison

hah well it was actually pretty intense... the first vehicle that hit it was a small sedan so it rolled right up the hood and flew off the side right into the front of my truck... the angle of the bull bar pushed the deer down and under my truck so it was nothing more than a fuzzy speed bump for me =) muahaha... im just so mad at myself for not taking pics of the deer. the look on its face was priceless...

I hit a deer once in a little Suzuki Swift. The car wasn't drivable after that. Insurance fixed it, but it was never the same. Good to hear you and your Taco came out okay!

Haw. I guess the whole experience came as a surprise! How did the folks in the sedan make out?
