Dangit! I was going to hit the spa before I went to bed. It's 41° outside and the soothing 104° water would feel so good on my lower back.

I got my stuff together and was preparing for it. I flopped the lid open and checked the temp but there where no lights on the control panel.

Two days ago I noticed the microwave and oven lost their time. I fixed it and asked my wife tonight. She said the power was out for a few seconds.

I reset the GFCI for the spa and the lights came back on but the water temperature is at 59°. Dad Nab it. No spa tonight.

I guess a hot shower is in order.

Good morning all.

 

From 16 to 18 I worked in a small auto shop run from my girlfriends dad. I started out sweeping floors but was changing engines by the time I was done.

I learned more from that than ever. It was also before the certifications were made up. It also made me aware of how some shops have the worst shady

mechanics available. One of the leads tried to teach me shady shit but he got fired before he could poison my mind.

 

after I retire I’ll get so much shit off my shoulders ......

sometime today ,if you can, Lay on the floor in front of the couch. Put your legs on the couch. Touch your butt to the bottom of the couch like your in a sitting position but on your back. Try and take a nap.

 

Those were crazy times. The shop owner was paralapalegic from an auto crash. His daughter was my girlfriend at the time. The lead mechanic was a POS that was known to screw anyone over. He tried to teach me many ways to screw customers. That is why today I only do my own work on my vehicles.

He also worked as a tow truck driver. I had to work with him at the time and it was the same thing. He would screw over customers at will.

Luckily after I moved on him and his companions were fired after a local news paper reported on their shenanigans.
