they really are, but for what it’s worth it’s been pretty reliable and it’s fun to drive in the winter.

it’s just so dang slow lol

I had the manual and it actually never felt toooooooo slow.

I ended up damaging belts on my tires doing rally races to work every morning on gravel roads and banging up curbs.

I couldnt believe how well it did with 7 year old cheap winter tires.

But my headgasket was starting to leak and I was not invested in the car enough to fix it.

My heads have been machined and OEM gaskets, as well as new timing belt, T stat, water pump etc etc so I hope the body simply rusts out before any more major maintenance is needed lol

haha I mainly want to make it so my bike helmet and bottle and tools have a nice place to go.

but I definitely see that crowd with the RAV4 and Subaru’s

Sooooooo many block lifted XV's and Foresters. And there's the customers that want off road looking tires, but don't want added noise on the highways. So now the tire companies are making highwayish tires with offroad looking sidewalls. R!C3!

You know I noticed that, with the tires lol I don't understand why everyone with subaru's does block lifts. Does anyone make proper suspension parts for them?

My forester is my daily beater, so I don't want to put money into it. But I do get bored and it's just another thing to build stuff for lol.

I don't know of any suspension lift kits available. I mean, you could put a rally suspension in, but they're tuned for high speed, not squishy rock crawling. Plus, they're expensive.

I get the beater mentality. Only replace what breaks. Just make sure it's an upgrade.

How's the suspension on your Foz BTW? I have a "brand new set" of FXT springs at my parent's house if you had a need for springs.

Well I failed inspection due to lots of water in the headlight, so new headlights are on the way.

And if I’m upgrading headlights I figured I should upgrade the fogs too

Mounted to the crash bar behind the bumper, and then the plastic cut around it to make it "flush"
