I’ve already got an Instapot. A small one. I think I’ll be ok with a 16 qt pressure cooker . I figure I grow enough tomatoes to be able to can a few quarts at a time for sauces and such . Definitely hoping to expand on that when I can get my garden bigger. Would love to do some “dry “ canning someday...:rasta:

If I were in your shoes I’d at least try the IP first then. One less thing to deal with in the kitchen, in my books. Less appliances the better.

Well, it was a very quiet FluidFilm spray day this past weekend when compared to the gathering I used to host in MA, but my truck is ready for winter.

Looking like I need to plan on some rust mitigation in the spring regardless.

This is the day I moved in. The only light was the one you see over the bench. Tool boxes and such are mine, the benches were there already.

Mine is 24x24, so 576ish sq ft. A chimney goes up through and robs some so call it 550.

Just did a quick spray can wool wax job on the taco, went through 4 cans. Need to do the 4Runner, then maybe reinspect each to see what might still need some hope in a can.

Anyone see the SSO Slimline on FB Marketplace for $450? The claim is some damage, but it looks mostly cosmetic in the photos. If it weren't an hour away and I didn't have to cut the truck to fit it, I'd take a look. I told myself I'm done with the mods for now, and I'm holding tight to that claim, or something.

Looking good! I did mine this weekend. It's crazy, I've got all the wands and a good kit and could easily make a few bucks (if I didn't step on @jpereira2 's toes), but I loathe doing this so much that I'm like, yeah, nope. I should just suck it up and offer to help out, but man, I HATE doing it.

Looks good! Mine's 24W x 26D. However, the layout of the garage doesn't lend itself well to useful storage. When I moved into the house there was no door between the garage and the house, even though the garage is attached to the house via a family room. I had to have surgery done on the roof of the garage to fit a door in, so the landing and stairs eats some of the space. In addition, the exit door for the garage is in the back right corner, and it swings in towards the middle of the garage and like an idiot, I didn't change the swing when I had the door replaced, so I need to leave room. It holds all my stuff fairly well, although if I planned on making this my forever house, I'd get a storage shed to move the snowblower and a future lawn tractor out.

If my next house is a clean sheet build (which I kinda hope it is), I want to do a 3-car garage if I can orient it in a way that doesn't look ostentatious relative to the house.

Damn, I'd never know you had to mess with the garage just to look at it.

Mine is I think 24 by 20. The door is off to the left so it would suck to pull a car in since you would block the path to the small jog out in the back. That and the clearance is so low I don't even think I could get my truck in..definitely the Rav4 is out of the question. Wouldn't be worth raising the door height because I have a loft above it and it would end up being a clusterfuck.

I cannot overstate how awesome my shed is. Holds all my out of season small engine stuff.

It's not like I have a shop to do it or any kind of permit or licensing. If you want have at it. Eammon was still in western mass when I asked if he'd mind and he was like have at it especially since he was moving

I need to do that. In the summer I don't care much but in the winter it is nice for both of us to be able to park inside so I put the lawn tractor, mower, snowblower, ATV, etc. Under my canopy out back. It works but is far from ideal.

I've been trolling the marketplace for a small shed, preferably a resin/ plastic one. Now that my garage is a gym I want to get the lawnmower, misc garden tools, old paint, and snowblower out of there.

Nah, I envy your dedication and absence of dislike of the stuff. You can have at it. I dread doing it every year, to the point I found myself making excuses this year, like it was too cold, or it was October.

Not many around but the Mill Store is where I got my shed, got a nice deal on it. It didn't have the wider door for my tractor at first but we just cut the frame and added more pieces of shiplap tongue/groove boards to it. Problem solved
