Is anyone going to the HiLuxSurf FB group meetup at Assateague on Saturday? We’ll be there and camping overnight.

 

I wish, to busy this weekend. I’m going to possibly organize a TW MD thread Assateague camping trip in Dec or Jan if anyone would be interested.

 

I'm the closest, have tools, a garage, and you have my phone number. What gives?

Does your wife still consider me a risk? I thought we were past that and I proved you wouldn't wind up down a dry well with a bottle of lotion! No?

So does anyone know of anybody doing the OVTune update that’s been popping up everywhere for $200?

 

I’ll say this is something I’m skeptically interested in. I’d like to have it done but might buy the stuff to do it. My concerns is if they brick your truck from a glitch or something your SOL but if you bought the stuff and did it OV would help you out. Well I read that they have reprogrammed the computer box, can’t remember what it was called.
That and I’ll need to take it to the dealer for the fuel pump recall and don’t know if they’d screw anything up trying to update something else.

 

Where at in Hagerstown? That's a stones throw away from here. Heck I even work in H-town.

What's safety and security like down there with a vehicle like this? I know it's somewhat extreme but do you ever feel like your being a little bit flamboyant and it could mean trouble? Or do you roll strapped down there?

Anyone here have experience with fitting 35s? I currently run 285/65/r18 (roughly 33in). My truck is overkill with this supercharger on my current setup, so I'm looking to get larger tires. My rims have a 0 offset. Would a wider tire on my current rims rub anywhere? Would a spacer be necessary for the rims? Is it an option to get 35in tire with a 285 width like my current tires and would that be good?
