Yep. It's weird, toyota completely changed their naming structure from the looks of it and now ATs and MTs are both 04Cxx

Thanks! I suppose they ran out of 04Bxx's with the 2020s.

Even the Entune Audio Versions have rolled over.

I have the ECU Update thread 1st Post updated with these.

Of course, the big question is when the 2021 TSBs will drop. Hahahaha!

Thanks this is good to know. I didn't realize there were two 2020 MTs. Sorry if my post was a bit sassy.

    I hear you there!

If only there was a way to port 04C30 and 04C00 / 04C20 to all of the ECUs. One ID for each transmission to rule them all.

All of the Taco MYs have at least two ECU IDs for each engine / transmission. 2016 / 2017 has four for each combo. See the ECU Update thread for details.

At the moment, there is no TSB to get from 04B90 to 04B91.

You download it from the main site and install it again. So no "update" buttons. Just installing the program again.

Hey 04C20 (2021 AT) guys, I finished the port of @Mooseditty17 's Mild+Wild 3.1 last night, reviewed everything, and it looks good! It's as close to a clone as I could get given some of the differences with the stock tune differences.... but I don't have a 2021 AT to test on until tomorrow or the next day.

It's set up for a completely stock truck, with 265/70/r16 tires, running Reg gas.

The biggest surprise looking at 04C20 stock maps was that some of the Torque Converter maps were already pushed further in good directions than MD pushed the 04B04 maps to get from stock to Mild+Wild.... so it seems like Toyota is figuring out better TC behavior as well!

Edit: Here's the link to MD's original description of this tune

(tune was originally uploaded, but taken off since it wasn't tested)

10-4. Just didn't want to fall behind on the latest and greatest. Keep up the good work Matt!
Is there a Rafael replacement yet? That way we don't always have to bother you...

Lots of factors dictate an answer to that.. How the throttle limit tables have been set up, how the airflow tables have been set up, at what pedal angle you expect it should unlock at a given speed. But to answer in a broad sense it should at least be all of the '100' columns.

The best method I've found is to graph the tables in excel but I modify the speeds by .885 to get real world MPH speeds.

Mild+Wild is the closest I've been able to get to being truly satisfied so far. I'm currently working on a MD.87_Performance.Tow and a MD.87_Performance.GL. Both will have same shift points and acceleration characteristics as M+W when in drive. Sporty but practical. The Tow mode, activated by ECT button, will hold 1-3 gears longer (approximately 2500 rpm before shifting) and 4th until about 65 mph, or approximately, 2700 rpm. 6th gear is virtually eliminated. It will have only a slightly more aggressive tip in for the tow mode vs regular drive. Same thing can be said for the GL version except, it'll have gear lock of course instead of towing tuned shift points. Activated by ECT and shifting via S Mode.

Both versions will be for 04B04 ECU ID.

04B90 is available. The problem is that 04B91 was just recently discovered. It takes a while for new ECUs to get supported. In the end, the later ECU ID is just better.

Dood. There's no fear editing with vF. The worse case is the you flash back to an earlier version. I had to do that on my first go. Otherwise, the stuff we are messing with on the MT side is mainly small input stuff. Most all of the existing edits have been tried and tested by a good number of folks. There's no chance of bricking the ECU, just getting some odd driveability stuff. If you get wild with AFRs or ignition, which we are not, you can do some damage.

the worst outcome I've had so far was when testing my first tune on a Tundra, and it just put it into limp mode. i flashed back to stock, and went back to drawing board. no harm done. sent the tune to mat to see what I f'ed up, he easily found the smoking gun, and I reverted that map back to stock. next test is actually tmrw!

Anybody else notice an increase in throttle response after the fuel pump replacement? Or I just used to driving that 4 banger Tacoma? I still feel that it’s better than it previously was.
