What's the best site to order through? Seems like a lot of places prices have gone up. (or I just have faulty memory.)
Want to pick up a couple different Drew Estate sticks, mainly: Replenish my KFC, try the Factory Smokes and Sweet, and the Swamp Thangs. All looking for the 4x length, chunky (or whatever is close).
    Thanks!

I like going to the cigar shop as much as smoking them. Plus with everything going on I like to support local businesses. Prices usually aren't too much more than what you're paying online anyway. Most shops carry Drew Estates because of popularity.

That's just me, a lot of people posted about https://www.cigarsinternational.com/

I may just go in this weekend and see if he'd order some stuff. He's got the only shop in my little town.

    Blondies are the bomb.

I've had the Ashton VSG's before, they are exceptional. :D

Cigar International is the goods. I'm fortunate that all their PA locations are only about an hour or so drive for me. :D
Need to make a trip up there again soon.

A lot of the fire house guys like the Blondies, I've grown fond of the Plushs however, they remind me of the sweet janes. Which were a smidge harder to find. Though I've found a local spot that has both in addition to the Leather Rose and Fat Betty.

Changing gears, anyone built a humidor from scratch?
I'm thinking like a 20"x12"x12" cabinet made from tongue and groove red cedar. Then lining it and making shelves with Spanish Cedar. I plan to use some kind of sealant between all pieces and a gasket around the door with a latch to make it airtight.
    Am I overlooking anything?

Ah, the infamous HomerTaco, fancy seeing you here sir.

Blondies are pretty good, if you're in the mood for sweet, they can be a bit much sometimes.

    :D

actually the Blondie Bellacosa’s are one of my favorites. Same blend but a much larger ring gauge.

    excellent smoke.

I've been thinking of trying to build one myself this winter. I have an old military ammo crate I want to line with Spanish cedar, just haven't found anyone selling the cedar locally. I tried to order some from a high end cabinet shop in town about two months ago and they said they couldn't get any (thought since they build closets i would have a shot). I'm a little nervous about ordering online because I want to actually see the cedar first.

I've kicked the idea around of making one myself. My idea was to recycle old cigar boxes to do it. Unfortunately I never have enough time for projects like that. :(

I can’t recall if you’re not supposed to use any sealant, or there’s a certain kind you’re supposed to use. Look into that before you proceed.

I took a 6x2x1 foot solid oak wall locker, lined it with Spanish cedar, used a refrigerator type magnetic seal and added a active humidification system to it.... To make my humidor.... Though really cool and all a large coolerdor with a couple boveda packs works just as well just not as big.
