Do we have anyone near Skipwith, VA? I might make Craigslist deal with a guy down there for his used driveshaft. Would like to know if anyone is available for the pickup / exchange before I commit.

    Hey Zach,
Looks like that might be a @Tennessee98 to @pabstsmeared or @chiefcrunchy to @fatfurious2 to @pdenajim to me to @TwistedTLM4 run. Also we're sending a set of handlebars to @LooseNut via some of the same people this week. I haven't heard from @fatfurious2 or @pdenajim yet on that but I could possibly make my leg of that trip this Saturday or this Sunday depending on when I get stuff and when @TwistedTLM4 is available.

Here's the thing. I'm scheduled for an operation on the 1st and again on the 10th and won't be able to drive for at least 3 weeks after the 10th so if we're going to do this we need to do it before then. Or I'm sure Jim @pdenajim wouldn't mind driving to Cabelas.

I got excited because there’s a Skipwith Road really close to me. However, Skipwith, Va is 2.5 hours in a direction I never go. Happy to help with a leg though. May be able to tag in someone from the Southeast thread.

Thank you Mike :fistbump: I'm 58 and this is my 7th time under the knife not counting broken bones or stitches, which I've lost count of. Nowadays I'd rather use duct tape or super glue instead of wasting my time at a hospital, unless something is hanging off or we run out of ways to stop the bleeding of course. :D

Mine is not life threatening or disease related but it's serious enough to require two separate visits. The second one is overnight. I'm not looking forward to them at all, or the lengthy recovery. If it's a success my life will be greatly improved so I'm going for it.

If you need someone to talk to about your procedure, either before or after, or both, shoot me a PM. I've had an interesting life, been around the block a few times as they say, and might know a couple things.

Good luck either way and above all else, try to chill. :fistbump:

Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids. That's why I put @Tennessee98 first. He's closer. I actually put you in there because of your cool bio on the first page. It's almost seductive. Almost.

I just found out that I am free on Sunday. Anyone available for a pickup/drop off? Or will I have to drive the bars up to @loosnut myself?

if youre coming to Rockville/Frederick/Silver Spring, Ill meet you.

I really wish I could strap the bars to my motorcycle, and bring them up. I dont trust my daily driver to make it past College Park, and I havent been driving the truck lately (but I could)
