Random pic....... I plowed (as in turned the dirt over) the garden today.

 

Just took the ribs off a bit ago, they are ok, again room for improvement. I pulled them just a bit early so they can rest then be wrapped up and reheated for a meal in the next day or so.

brisket still going, but it will also be saved for another meal.

First run, worth the buck fifty, as I prep the food better, it will get way better.

Yep that's norm. Gotta do a pre run on it to get the smoky / flavor in for a bit prior to first cook is always good. I feel with electric smokers not always needed though.
