2020 registration what are you paying by state

$163.20 for (4) years in CT. Combination plates (not commercial). Y'all must be paying for more than just the registration plates for the vehicles - most likely taxes. In CT we pay property tax each year for the priviledge of garaging/parking the vehicle in our towns. For my '06 Taco it's about $250 per year, decreasing each year as the market value decreases. It can also go up if the tax rate increases (which is set by the local town).

$89 in pennsylvania plus there is a $5 county registration fee the state allows the county to add if they choose to all vehicle registration. Mine does. It was something they did in place of raising a different tax. You can pay to register for two years at once and they don't double the $5 fee.

It was cheaper when I had the Jeep because they classified it as a station wagon not in a truck class.

 

Mine should’ve been $800. But I kept my old plates from my vehicle I traded in so paid around $500. CO.

Yeah $94 in PA but we have the highest gas tax in the country so we pay that way.

Sadly that property tax thing happens here in PA too. In my town the city school district has very high school tax rate. Most of the city properties are not very expensive but one part of the city has nice larger older homes. Many have $10k tax bills on a $190k house. It pushes older retired out.

 

$88.07 in western Washington (King county). That includes a 3% card payment fee

 

Where is it 125? Are you guys running specialty plates? Mine's $73, or $98 if you include the safety inspection cost.

50 goes to the state, then the county is allowed a maximum of $23 for road, emissions, and processing fees. My county of course elects to take the max. (And also I have to pay 25 bucks to my local jiffy lube for them to flash the lights, honk the horn, and sniff my tailpipe.)

I thought my prop tax was bad at $4000ish. That's insane.
