Any guitar players on TW?

Kind of dig that wood finish. Was the same finish of my first guitar

 

I think a couple people in this thread have the 58 epi korinas.

 

Always been a fan of the Explorer. Lots of body for resonance. Had a Jackson Warrior I loaded with EMG's for a few years but sold it for Harley parts. And couldnt get passed the license tremolo, I know it's great to have but blah, I wanted something more on the fly

Think I'm sold. 58 Korina it is.

I have a few months. I close on a house Dec 1. So will probably be Jan time frame and Feb before I get it all pick up set up ready and tuners if needed.

 

Hmmm...i think the new ones are made in China. I'm pretty sure you want and older Korean one.

Can someone who has the korina 58 explorer chime in?

 

You happen to know what years? I'm seeing some mid 2000's ones or would it be prior?

Also...stay away from the controversial "LU" serial.
Those are said to be made in Indonesia under license from Korea.

The drums were software. "EZ Drummer 2".
It was just a straight beat with no changes.
Kinda wanted to add a few tom rolls and cymbals to the original tracks with my new kit but just realized I formatted all my disks when I switched from my 8 track to my 32 track.

 

Awesome, so now you cant crutch on EZ Drummer and need to lay down the drum track from scratch...oh, digesting this, you lost the orig tracks? Need to replicate all from scratch ?

Yea. I can still use ez drummer for my kit to trigger the sounds. That's actually what I bought it for.

But the kits in the brain and editing kits are far more better than the 10-20 kits in ez drummer.

So I just run left/right out of the brain and directly into left/right in of my 32 track in stereo.

 

Almost picked this up, then went for a Ghost Horse instead. Who knows when that will appear though

Glued in neck too, very nice. I just don’t care for Epiphones, and the resale value....it would be hard to resell it. Granted, I don’t buy guitars for their resell value, but if I get hard up for cash, or worse, I die, me or my wife would be stuck with it.
