I just saw where the Wrangler is getting the 3.0 Ecodiesel and you can get it on any trim level.....you don't have to buy the Rubi

 

Watch it still be Rubi priced though.

 

Oh, I'm sure. I was just glad to see you can get it on all trims. Just saw it's a 4K upgrade

 

Wonder if the Tacoma will ever get a diesel option.

 

I read that the Toyota execs said they won't deal with the EPA's regs, so I'd say no.

Yup, but they're in countries that use the European regs. And if I'm not mistaken, the diesels are considered the "cheap" engines.

 

Ah, I always imagined the Euro regs on something like cars/emissions would be more strict

I don't know if I've seen that. I do remember one where they put a cheap rollbar on a miata and dropped it lol

I don't really pay attention to what's getting what. In reality I only need to worry about the 2.7L that's in my truck right now lol
Not like I'm going to be buying a new truck anytime

I just stumbled across them this weekend. I liked the ones I watched. The 350z's were done with all cheap ebay and the other got high-end parts. It was a pretty good little series.

 

I've watched a handful of their videos when they pop up in the recommendations.

 

If the Tacoma gets a 3.5 turbo 6 I'd be real tempted... Ditch the sport for an Off Road.

 

I downloaded the YT app on my firestick. I started watching more of it this past week. I watched a good bit of Last Line of Defense. He's got a pretty sick LC80 and Tacoma

 

I'd be surprised if they put the same engine from a Tundra into a Tacoma. I bet they only offer a single turbo in the Tacoma.
