2021 Pro with fox 2.5 shocks. It’s says with a reservoir. I’m new to this and not sure what all that means. I don’t have the weight yet of the bed rail or the tent but was wondering if any experience with this shock and if it can handle some of this weight. Do I need to change

You won’t be the first with a rtt on a pro, depending on weight, maybe just new rear leaf pack. But I’m sure someone that has done it will offer more thorough advice.

Welcome to TW! The reservoir is literally just an additional cylinder that holds more shock fluid and will be mounted near the main shock body and connected with a strong hose.

Oh. Ok. So IwillTaco mentioned leaf pack replacement. Is there any way to find out what leaf system we have on the Pro? Guys I’m a maintenance man/plumber, not a mechanic. If I sound stupid on here, it’s because I am. Lol

I think the Pros still have the same Toyota leafpack that the TRD Offroads have. Nothing special, but you could always upgrade that with an add-a-leaf or a replacement aftermarket leafpack.

@Shellshock did something like this with a PRO Tundra I believe. Same idea, maybe he can lend a thought that will help you out

Yup. I wanted to keep the pro suspension but needed to do something to accommodate the weight of the AT Habitat I added. I swapped the leaf pack to the icon RXT and it put the truck right back where it was from the factory with the extra weight.
