Made an offer yesterday, they came back with the "we received multiple offers, please submit you best and final" hate that shit. we wiggled a bit on our offer, but i'll be dammed if I am getting into a bidding war. location works, space works, on/near lake, boat ramp, detached 2 car garage. Downsizing and limiting my need to upkeep a property is our goal.

There is a second gen white double cab Tacoma in there with a SOS hybrid front. Thought it may be @Jwithers but its not, he is an ACBC access cab best cab. Curious if it is anyone in here, thoughts on the neighborhood, etc.

Fun stuff, should find out later today, I am not hopeful, they will likely get offers up to 5-10K above ask or more, who knows.

I have put a temporary pause on my home search because of the frenzy I am going to look again closer to Thanksgiving/Christmas not that its far away. I really liked that place though Jimbo, don't blame you one bit on not wanting to get in a biding war however

Good idea on the pause. There’s nothing out there.

Assuming everything with the sale goes through, we close next Thursday and have only found two houses worth touring. One we missed out on, the other is just too much house for two people though the fully furnished basement and 1.3 acre yard were tempting.

Unfortunately I now have 3 storage units, a boat parked in storage and will be spending the holidays bunking with the in-laws. Hoping something lists worth a shit soon. Crazy people out here listing 110 year old mill houses at $150K cuz upgrades.

There is a house that just went up for sale across the street from us. We are in Mt Holly. 15 minutes from uptown. But still far enough to still feel like you got some privacy. No HOA with a 2 car attached garage and a building around back. I should say don’t make the offer of what they are asking. Just ain’t worth it. We paid 290 and our place was fully renovated. That place needs some renovations not sure to what degree. But worth a look if your still looking.

I may have asked this, but anyone every run their own Natural Gas line and use CSST? I'm going to tackle piping up a firepit (ignore the yahoos in this photo) on the deck this weekend but have to run about 60' of gas line...... Finger crossed I don't blow myself up.
