Thanks man, we get some good sized trout up here in Ontario. For sure my catch of this season. Got a few nice fillets from it to share with friends0A75D3C0-5B4E-4701-A902-1B656657ACF9.jpg

@LandoFernano My Mother in law came from Belleville Ontario. My wife grew up fishing the rivers and lakes for rainbows and grayling. We have talked about taking a few weeks exploring that part of the country after seeing this it provides extra incentive haha

@Pointeman Ontario has over 250,000 fresh water lakes and so many fish species between them. Some of the best fresh water fishing in the world is up here along with some catch size records. Any tributaries off of the Great Lakes is worth checking out! All of the lakes and rivers is one of the reasons I love it here, but if only we had mountains too :angrygirl:

Well maybe it’s just your online persona lol

Not that I’m stalking you but I’ve noticed you use the :puke:emoji fairly often in the food threads

Damn I need a life lol

Stalker!!! :) My online persona is different than IRL. Coz keyboard warrior ftw. Actually I use the :drool::hungry: emojis more than the puke one. And notice I 'like' a lot of food pics.

I have posted my thinking on posts that sorta set me off. And I'm not kind to stupid people's posts. I know I should just scroll on, but :frusty::annoyed: I piss people off IRL too, I'm good at it. Especially those that have screwed me over, or tried to.

Now, get a life and stay off my damn lawn! ;)

Smoked is amazing! I like to take smoked trout and turn it into Pâté, that sh*t is fire! Throw it on some crackers with some olives and a glass of wine or Pilsner

Hell yea man, that’s what I’m talking about! Lol. I know it as smoked trout Pâté, and it is damn killer. Do the same with smoked white fish and also amazing! That is the one thing I’m really missing in life, a smoker :pout: any time I’m at a farmers market I’m always looking for smoked fish to stock up on.

*edit I’ve got a big ol slab of smoked whitefish down in the freezer that this conversation has just made me remember  thank you @wilcam47

Okay I’m sure this is not everyone’s cup of tea but one thing I miss is mashed potatoes and gravy. With thanksgiving right around the corner I thought I’d give something a try...

    96CC33F1-495A-4975-A546-74EA54B56BF5.jpg
Low Carb “KFCish” Potato Bowls. Instead of potatoes, I used steamed then roasted cauliflower with Butter, Greek yogurt, Parmesan cheese, Garlic Salt, and Ranch dressing mix, and a little cream. Then I blended until smooth. Added a little corn, and some Chick Fil A nuggets and topped with grated cheese and brown gravy. Holy Smoke! Was that ever good!

Mini blueberry pies again...easy to make and really good. Didn’t take a new picture though. They looked and tasted just as good as the night before.

I wanted sloppy joes but didn't have buns so I made some pretzel buns. I only boiled them for about 45 seconds and they turned out really light. I'll try and remember that for next time.
