Custom LED Map and Dome lights

I had that issue when I first installed the puddle pods. I'm not sure if you have those too, but once I used some tesa tape to hold the puddle pod harness in place against the a pillar the flickering stopped. If you don't have them, it could just be a bad contact with the maps or dome - make sure they are in pretty snug.

 

I have, at first I thought it was my eyes until I watched for a few seconds.

 

Just installed the V2 dual brightness...I don't think I'll ever use the "Bright AF" mode. Good clean, thought out product as usual. Had to change diapers at night in the backseat prior to this purchase and was not able to see anything. I'm ready now...

 

Can anyone confirm if there are differences between the various dome lights between models other than colours.

I recently upgraded the dome in our 3rd Gen Tacoma to a V2 and tossed the V1 in our FJ Cruiser, it was a perfect fit other than the colour.

Would like to get a V2 for the FJC but not sure if I should go with the second Gen Taco or the 5th Gen T4R.

I already did the one of each - driver's side is white and passenger side is red. Hmmm... would this be enough of an upgrade?

On the other hand if someone wants the opposite (driver's side red, passenger white), let me know and maybe we can work a deal. Also have the red dome. Could be a package!

 

I’ve gotten flickering from the interior overhead lights (only the front ones) randomly ever since I installed the puddle pods, it started the day after I installed them. I emailed support and they wanted me to take the adapter harness out and see if it went away. Then if it did, they would send me a new jumper and I’d have to take it apart again to install the new adapter harness. I didn’t want to keep taking it apart and putting it back together again just to prove the problem was the adapter harness, it started the day after, so I’ve just been dealing with it since then. It’s rare, it only happens about once a month, but it still persists to this day.

 

Seriously, where do I sign up?

 

You need these after installing the V2 Ultimate dome light in the 4 Runner damn these things are BRIGHT!

 

I've put a special request out there for him to invert the colors. More Red and less White. Because the red is too dim and the white is too bright, IMO. We shall see...

 

Great idea! I'm almost thinking of getting just full red maps because the dual color dome is bright enough when white.
