New to the forum and turned 50 in June. Since then I have been in and out of the hospital for 2 1/2 months, had a colon resection with 6 weeks of recovery, now I have an inflamed liver and Lyme disease. Ah 50, you are my least favorite age. It can only get better from here...right? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Fry? Fry?

Welcome to the group and the best thread on TW. Sorry to hear about the resection. As someone that deals with Crohns, I feel your pain.

Now go take the test on page 1 of this thread and post your answers for the thread tribe members to decide your fate. No, really, there’s actually a test...

Had diverticulitis and was on constant IV antibiotics. After a month the doc said the bad part had to come out. Snip Snip and it's better. No bag so I'm very happy about that.

    Be gentle on me...
    1. What condiments do you prefer for your hot dogs? Think carefully! A: Ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut

    3. What is your preferred hardware for removing the younglings from the lawn? A:Lawn Darts
    4. Dog or Cat? This is not a question about what is on the dinner menu! A: Dog - Cisco, see pic below
    5. Goat Porn?, A: Nah, too complicated
    6. Coffee or Tea? Those are your only choices! A: Coffee, I'm Italian so yeh. Cappuccino.

    10. How do you like your steak cooked? A: Medium Rare...Duh
    11. °C, °K or °F ? A: F but c'mon we should be at C like the rest of the world.
    12. Miracle whip or mayo? A:Miracle Whip until 30 years old then after that it's just not worth it later on the toilet.

    I remember that facility

Also not only TCE / PCE exposure at El Toro there was also the weekly Crash crew burn pit exercises where they burned solvents , Jet A fuel , diesel and anything else that was flammable . There was a burn pit near my armory and the smoke created was nasty and hard to breathe

Not only that but possible storage of Agent Orange on this base and this was was also a health risk at my squadrons headquarters ....
https://www.militarypress.com/radia...ave been as,transferred elsewhere on the base.
