Went out to Lost Maples state natural area last weekend. It was beautiful out there but maybe a little early for the Maples. Still well worth it to do a little hiking and the drive was beautiful as well. If y'all have a chance tomorrow or over the weekend, I really recommend driving out hwy 39 or 1340 near Hunt, TX. It's pretty much the peak for fall out here right now!

I bought a 2016 ford f150 xl single cab yesterday cause my work truck finally crapped out it spin a bearing in the crank and the cost to rebuild the engine wasn't worth it but I got a good deal 9800 bucks it has 82000 miles I put roll in bed liner today next week the comercail camper I ordered should show up it was 3200 dollas but I added it to the cost of the truck at the dealership there installing it yes it's not a taco but it was kinda a I didn't have a choice buy cause I needed a work truck

 

It sucks the engine had 288k on it didn't quite make 300k I was hoping my old work truck would last till June

 

Been playing with my sausage. Jalapeño & cheese ready for a smoke.

Done a finer grind and trying to get my hot links right. I never think there hot enough. Gonna trial this batch with some folks this weekend. Might blanch some habaneros and try them next.

Gents, sorry I’ve been MIA, I fractured a rib and the wife has been super sick. Actually took her to get tested for COVID yesterday. Don’t think it’s a good idea for me to show up this weekend but would love to pass my gift on. Is anyone coming that is in /around the Seaworld area that could meet me to get it and bring it for me?

All good man. Out of my control. Honestly been more agitating than anything. I did mine bringing down Christmas decor from the attic! Bone head mistake being careless.

Her on the other hand I’ve been keeping close hold because everyone having such hysteria these days but she spiked a fever yesterday so I caved and got her tested.

 

I actually still plan on trying to come pending her test results obviously.
