Best magma flow?

So I’m planning on putting a magna flow muffler on my truck an want to know the best one to put on?

I think the best Magma flows are probably in Hawaii because they're American. But I dunno there's probably a few neat ones in South America too.

 

Shorter is louder. So if you want loud and possibly annoying go 14”, less loud and possibly less annoying go 18” or 20”.

Drone is a pretty common complaint on the shorter mufflers.

Even the 18" is downright obnoxious. At least on my 4.5L I6.

24” is mellow. Everything else is.. open to interpretation.

 

I have a 24" Magnaflow single in/out and there is little to no drone, I wouldn't get anything shorter than that imho. Had it 10 years so far and holding up well.

Stay stock 3.4 and a v8 wannabe exhaust don’t go together too well

 

I have a full mandrel 3" exhaust with Magnaflow high flow cat and a 28" magnaflow muffler. It still drones, and it's really not all that quiet compared to factory. We all know how good loud v6s sound...

Form follows function, so it's only there because of the turbo.

 

I bought an 18" MF one-inlet-two-outlet for my truck and it was on there ONE DAY as I took it back to the shop and had my stock muffler re-installed. It has been in my garage on the wall since.
That thing was setting off car alarms.
Like I said before, sorry, but our engines do not sound good. They run like a Swiss watch, but are meant to be silenced.

yeah shorter the better. get a chambered one though the straight throughs sound like ass

 

I've got an inline six, it sounds beautiful but it's too damn loud. My taco, yeah that sounds bad.

 

1) are you seeking a replacement for a rotted out OE system?

2) if not #1, what are your expectations/goals for whatever exhaust you chose?

3) remember, since you're planning, it means you have the option to change your mind.

 

Technically, once it hits the surface, it becomes lava.

Hot spot volcanism is cool, but you can't beat a good subduction zone magmatic intrusion.
