A nice breakfast and coffee to help get me through some mandatory contract training this am.

 

Woke up stupid late this morning.
Is boredom a symptom of Covid?

Wish the weather was nicer so I can work on my truck.
This self quarantine sucks.

 

Gotta do whatchu gotta do unfortunately.

But yeah, this weather sucks.

 

Myself, I'd get tested anyways.
I'd be a stressed out lunatic not knowing one way or the other.

 

Does anyone want a 2nd gen splash guard? I put a real front skid on and feel bad just tossing the splash guard. I also have those curved radiator supports because I had to remove them for the skid

 

I'm not worried about it.

 

Ill snag the passenger side support it mounts to, if possible. One of the welded nuts on mine broke loose and its not ideal holding a wrench on the other side to hold a basic nut.

 

If you don't want the actual splash gaurd and just the support, I've got a buddy I could ask who just ripped a hole in his

 

Also I'm finally getting active again on tw haha it's been a busy year but covid boredom and a new truck brought me back.

Yea, im just looking for the support, really just for convenience when taking off my current splash guard when I spray the truck with woolwax. Im too cheap to buy a new one because I plan on getting real skids sometime.

I can fit a wrench in there now to make it work, its just inconvenient holding a wrench on the opposite side.

Man I'm so sorry, I don't think I'm talking about the piece you want. I thought they were called radiator supports, I feel like an asshole

 

Thats the piece. If you turn it over, there should be welded nuts that the splash guard bolts go into. Those smaller holes on the side, I believe.

Happy Friday! So happy the weekend is almost here.

Ive got a bunch of stuff on the docket for tomorrow. The 2500hd needs an oil change and blew an exhaust gasket right before the cat. Hoping to pick up a replacement as well as a filter and some oil to take care of all that. Also need to recheck the torque on my Tacoma’s suspension because I havent done that since initially installing the lift and torquing in late summer. @Skierrichy would be disappointed I waited this long.

Need to get all this done before going under the knife next week since I will be out of commission for about 6 weeks Im told. Fingers crossed the weather holds up tomorrow to knock all this out.
